Espen previously served as consultant for numerous non-profit agencies across the state.
He served as Special Events and Corporate Fundraising Specialist for the American Diabetes Association in northern California. Prior to that he was executive assistant for SF CASA and served on the board of various professional committees for the American Psychological Association.  

Espen received his first master’s in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and second masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Alliant International University.  In San Diego, Espen helped to create a curriculum for mental health professionals working with substance abuse and addiction.   He is currently employed with the San Diego Community College District.
