Every child has the capacity to navigate life’s transitions with resilience and confidence; sometimes all they need is the right support.

Children experience big emotions, life changes, and moments of uncertainty, and they don’t always have the words to express what they’re feeling. I help children and their families navigate these challenges by creating a safe, supportive space where kids can explore their emotions, process transitions, and build practical coping skills. Through play-based interventions, mindfulness practices, and developmentally appropriate strategies, I empower children to feel seen, understood, and capable of managing life’s ups and downs.

I hold a Master of Science in Early Childhood and Family Clinical Counseling from San Diego State University, where my training specialized in early childhood development, family systems, and multiple play therapy modalities. This education allows me to meet children where they are and communicate in the language they understand best, play.

In my clinical work, I support children navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, grief and loss, household transitions such as divorce, and family conflict. I also work with tween and teen girls as they navigate life changes, identity development, friendships, and emerging social and emotional challenges. Through parent coaching, I help caregivers strengthen the parent–child bond and build supportive home environments where children can thrive.

I also work with adults to help them reconnect with their inner child and foster greater self-compassion and emotional resilience. Using modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and experiential interventions, I support adults in exploring unresolved childhood experiences, understanding how these patterns show up in their lives, and developing new ways of relating to themselves and others. This work often enhances relationships, emotional regulation, and personal growth, allowing adults to bring more presence, empathy, and authenticity to their daily lives.

Because children often communicate through play rather than words, I use play therapy as a primary tool to understand their experiences and help them process emotions in a safe, empowering way. I integrate mindfulness techniques, structured activities, and creative interventions to help children develop confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

It is a privilege to walk alongside adults, children and families during some of their most tender moments. I approach each session with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for every child’s unique story. My goal is simple: when children feel truly supported and understood, we equip them with the skills to grow into resilient, compassionate, and confident individuals.
