I chose to enter the mental health field because I believe in the power of healing—not just on an individual level, but as a pathway to building more compassionate and connected communities. My own journey with mental health taught me that meaningful change begins within, and that by nurturing the inner world, we can begin to shape the outer one. I believe that the individuals who have the greatest potential to fully utilize the tools that counseling has to offer are also the ones whose mental health happens to be overlooked: our children. Through my work with children, I have found that I not only have a talent for connecting with children, but that I can create a wellness-minded community through empowering children and families.

As a graduate of San Diego State University’s M.S. program in Early Childhood and Family Clinical Counseling, I specialize in supporting children and families through life’s most tender moments. My clinical training emphasizes play therapy, where I’ve worked with children navigating anxiety, grief, family transitions, and emotional regulation. Because children speak through play, it’s through their play that I learn their stories.

Whether through child-led play sessions or parent coaching, my work centers on strengthening the caregiver-child bond and helping little ones feel more confident, grounded, and understood. It’s an honor to walk alongside families in these sacred spaces, and I bring warmth, empathy, and curiosity to every session.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when we help children feel truly supported, we plant the seeds for a more emotionally resilient and compassionate world.
